Who is eligible to participate?
Our programs are open to academics, professionals, and institutions interested in international collaboration. Specific eligibility criteria will be outlined in the official program guidelines (to be published soon).
Do participants need a Canadian visa?
Yes. Most international participants will require a valid visa or study/work permit depending on the type of program. We will provide detailed guidance once program categories are finalized.
What is the typical program duration?
Programs are expected to range from 3 months (short-term exchanges) to 18 months (longer-term placements). Final details will be announced with each program launch.
Is there an application fee?
No fee is currently required. However, administrative fees may be introduced in the future depending on program structure.
What costs are covered by the organization?
Participants are generally responsible for travel, accommodation, and personal expenses. Limited funding support may be offered in selected cases — details will be announced as programs roll out.
When will the first programs begin?
The first pilot initiatives are planned for late 2025. Official timelines will be posted on the website and distributed via newsletters.
How can institutions collaborate with SJWC?
Partnership opportunities are available for universities, think tanks, and non-profit organizations. We welcome proposals for joint research, training, and policy projects.
